L. doesn't fear anything and always stays calm and relaxed. His brother Cruddy, the head of sic[:K] Productions, employed him as the star of a webcomic, but he did not show up until about the middle of the first season, when he replaced Cruddy. He is friends with depressed robot co-star Tahu and persuaded an unemployed succubus named Taka to join the crew.
Even his closest friends and relatives have never seen him without his light blue shirt with the stiff collar or his sunglasses. Does he have dozens of blue shirts at home or does he just never change clothes? It's best not to know. Either way, the girls (and even some guys) love him.
Also, nobody exactly knows where he lives or how old he actually is. He may look like a teenage boy, but many suspect that he's much older, at least old enough to live on his own and go to work.
Since he's well aware that he is just a "toon", he deals even with the devil in a calm manner and knows that he cannot really die. Although, if he told anyone, they would just tell him that he's a bloody psycho who needs some help. Deadpool can sympathize.

Tahu
He's a robot from a LEGO line of action figures who was retired and replaced by a new one with more "shiny". Most of the time he's depressed or doing weird stuff that nobody quite gets. This is why Cruddy hired him to star in a webcomic.
While he does have a soft side, he a jerk most of the time (much like L.) and he smokes cigarettes like a fat kid eats chips. Another one of his hobbies is to drown his sorrows in alcohol, which he's quite good at. Happily married with Delilah, who may possibly be the only sane person he knows.

Taka Nuvia
A long time ago, she worked for the Devil Himself, as a succubus. Then she was fired, because nobody sold their souls to her. Roaming the streets of the city begging for change, she was picked up by L., who talked her into starring in a webcomic. She has only met Cruddy one or two times and doesn't want to see him again, but you can't hold that against her, because Cruddy's a angry, frustrated, stressed and insane mess of a man.
She can lose her temper quite easily and when she does, all hell breaks loose. L. is usually very careful not to get on her nerves too much, but she isn't entirely safe from his tricks and pranks.
Coffee and ice cream are the only gods Taka worships, and she does it with passion. Her flat has three coffee vending machines (2 of them are stolen) and an ice cream dispenser that is usually broken. Or out of ice cream. Or something else keeps it from working properly.

Taladar "Tally" Akaku & Doctor Khols
Taladar is L.'s other best friend and almost always cheerful and happy. However, he does get annoyed quickly and hates ties. Especially bowties. He had been working for Cruddy as a janitor for some time, when L. noticed his talent and got him into the webcomic business, as another co-star.
Although he is a robot, he gets along better with humans than with his own people, not counting Khols.
Khols originally had his own webcomic studio, which Cruddy then bought for 2 euros and a cheese sandwich. His new job is to 'look after' Taladar, but he has since grown somewhat attached to the goofy green guy.
He made a deal with Death a long time ago, preventing his untimely demise, but he now has to somehow complete a new task for the Grim Reaper each year. Luckily, he can rely on his 'assisstant' Popple, the shadow thief.

Kardas Güldenstern is what most doctors would consider insane beyond treatment, but if there's one thing he can do without causing havoc, it's bending the law in Cruddy's favour. As the company's attorney, Kardas also sometimes has to force people to sign contracts or get them to make a cameo appearance in the comic, and sometimes he sues people whom he has never heard of. to He is partnered with Axel, mainly to make sure he doesn't start doing anything 'unusual'.
